If you’re from Kitchener, Ontario, the ONLY pizza place that everyone will tell you to try is Pepi’s.

I am not a huge pizza fan anymore. It’ only because of the mean effects of cheese on me but I was coaxed and prodded maybe badgered a bit because my life would be incomplete if I did not at least try this pizza.

The Canadian from Pepi’s Pizza

I have to say I was shocked by the amount of toppings. The Canadian has pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and of course cheese. But there is so much of it! We ordered the party size and I couldn’t lift the box up with both hands!

Picking up a slice, I noticed no grease pooling at the top nor running down my arm. The crust is light! I thought it would be heavy and maybe slightly salty with all those toppings but it wasn’t. I did note that it was not super saucy as some people like it but i have to say that this pizza was worth eating the cheese for. Delish!

Pepi’s was founded in 1962 and is still run by descendents of the Fermi family. They also make subs, lasagna and wings too. There are three locations but only in Kitchener unfortunately.

The next time you’re in Kitchener, it’s worth a try.
